So Logic offers several cores of popular, industry standard, 8051 microcontroller. 8051 microcontroller is based on the 8-bit processor core, and is an excellent design choice in wide variety of embedded control applications, offering good price/performance ratio.
In the near future, So Logic will offer many more 8-bit and 16-bit microcontroller cores based on industry standards, such as Zilog Z80, Motorola 68000 series, etc.
All these cores can be used in large SoC designs, surving as replacements for obsolete parts, or as controllers for wide range of applications for automotive, industrial and other areas.
