Course Description

This course explores the Vivado™ IP integrator tool and its features to develop, implement, and debug different IP integrator block designs using the Vivado Design Suite. It covers creating block designs, packaging custom IP, using block design containers and module referencing, configuring Versal™ device CIPS blocks, exporting programmable device images (PDI), and configuring the AXI NoC to access DDR memory controllers in Versal devices.

The emphasis of this course is on:

• Creating an IP integrator block design using the Vivado Design Suite
• Creating custom IP via the IP packaging flow
• Using the block design container (BDC) and module referencing features
• Adding and configuring the Versal™ device CIPS block and exporting the generated programmable device image (PDI)
• Configuring the AXI network on chip (NoC) to access DDR memory controllers in Versal devices
